General Group Exercise
(Natick, Wayland & Wellesley)
Do I need to register for classes?
Group exercise classes operate on a drop-in basis. Pre-registration is not required, though we encourage members to register through our app to receive updates in the event of schedule changes or cancellations.
Arrival & Class Etiquette
Please arrive on time.
For Yoga, Mindbody, and specialty classes, arriving a few minutes early helps maintain a calm and focused environment.
For strength and cardio classes, if you arrive late, please enter quietly, gather equipment efficiently, and join without disrupting the class in progress.
Cleanliness & Equipment Care
To maintain a clean and welcoming environment, please wipe down all equipment after use and return equipment neatly to its designated area. All necessary equipment is provided. You are welcome to bring your own mat or props if preferred.
Phone Policy
To support a respectful class environment, please:
- Silence phones during class
- Avoid phone use during instruction
- Step out to the hallway or lounge if you must take an urgent call

Registration & Cancellation (Lumina)
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for all Lumina classes.
Pilates Reformer classes require advance registration due to limited equipment and small class sizes (3–6 participants). Classes can be reserved through the Longfellow MindBody app.
If you need to cancel a Reformer or specialty class, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in forfeiture of the session or a fee.
Pilates Reformer
I’m new to Reformer — can I still join?
Absolutely. No experience is required.
We offer a one-time complimentary introductory Pilates Reformer session for members and clients new to the equipment. This session teaches foundational movements, equipment use, and proper form so you feel confident joining group classes.
Is there an additional cost?
Yes. Pilates Reformer classes require a separate registration and fee due to the specialized equipment and small class size, which allows for personalized instruction.
Are grip socks required?
Yes. Grip socks are required for all Reformer classes for safety, hygiene, and stability on the equipment.
