Most group classes are included with membership. Specialty programs may carry a separate fee. Offerings vary by location. Pilates Reformer
Pilates Reformer is a specialized Longfellow program offered at Lumina (Wayland) and inside the Wellesley club.
Longfellow Lumina
Lumina is our dedicated mind-body studio in Wayland with its own schedule and expanded offerings.
Svaroopa Yoga
Svaroopa Yoga is a gentle, therapeutic style of yoga designed to release deep muscular tension and support the natural alignment of the spine. Using props and carefully supported poses, this class focuses on quieting the nervous system and allowing the body to unwind at a deeper level.
Rather than emphasizing flow or intensity, Svaroopa Yoga creates space for stillness, breath, and sustained release. It is appropriate for many levels and can be especially supportive for those seeking relief from chronic tension or looking for a restorative experience.
Offered exclusively at Longfellow Lumina.
Partner Dancing
Longfellow Tennis & Health Club in Wayland offers a variety of partner dance classes for beginners through advanced dancers. Instruction is available in private, semi-private, and group formats.
Styles include Two Step, Waltz, West Coast Swing, Salsa, Night Club 2, Hustle, Cha Cha, Triple Two Step, East Coast Swing, Polka, and more. While most styles are partner-based, you do not need a partner to attend.
Most classes are offered in structured 4, 5, or 6-week sessions. A monthly Country Mix Dance is held on Sunday evenings and includes a pre-dance lesson.
